Badminton Tournament

MY-UK is hosting its 3rd badminton tournament. We would like to invite fellow Malaysians and their friends to join in this competitive but friendly competition.
 

Date: Sunday, 4th November 2018 (11 am – 6 pm). 

Venue: Science Centre, London Metropolitan University @ 29 Hornsey Rd, London N7 7DD.

Closing date: Sunday, 28th October 2018 or when all spaces are booked. ·

Entry Fee: £15 (members) and £18 (non-members) per person per event. Lunch and water is included in the Fee.  
 

Members are entitled to a special price and a further £5 discount if entering for two events (catergories). You can join as a member (membership fee is £50 for individual or £20 for student for one year) by completing the membership form below.

Four Event (Category) available: Men Doubles, Women Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Veteran Men Doubles (40 years +). 

Skill Level: Grade 1 and 2 for MD and XD. All Grades for WD and VD. Grading is up to your own self-assessment and expects good competitive games in the Grade you are playing.

Grade 1 is open to advanced and intermediate club players. Grade 2 is open to all others.    

The following notes and conditions apply.

1. Each event must have at least one Malaysian in each pair.
2. Each player can enter a maximum of 2 events and the man who enter both MD & XD must stay within the same Grade 1 or 2.   
3. Tournament Committee reserve the Rights to refuse entries and the decision will be final.
4. On the day, participants must arrive at the venue for attendance registration on or before 10.30 am. Late arrival will not be able to play.  

5. Feather shuttlecocks will be used. 

6. Lunch will be provided. 

7. Prizes:
1st place (Winner) - £40 voucher + Gold medals for double per pair
2nd place (1st Runner) - £20 voucher + Silver medals for double per pair
3rd place (2nd Runner)- Bronze medals for double per pair
